Reconnecting the gospel and academic work from Cambridge to the UK and Continental Europe
Too often, Christians at university live divided lives. Through our projects and partnerships, we are promoting a new normal where we reconnect the gospel and our academic work so that we serve God both:
We promote this evangelical intellectual vision by providing training and support to:
Academic Evangelistic Speakers
Through the FEUER Academic Speakers’ Network we draw together evangelical academics around John Lennox. They engage in lectures and dialogues which unfold the big questions in their field to introduce the gospel.
Christian Students and Scholars
We host a web-based resources-sharing collaboration, curating and commissioning key materials for partners.
We host a biannual day conference in Cambridge for postgraduates and early career academics.
We offer a study community and reference library which help Christians at the University of Cambridge to develop an evangelical intellectual vision.
We provide a 22-session weekly development programme for a selected annual cohort of 10 PhD student leaders.
University Ministry Partners
We provide consultancy and training for ministry staff, students and Christian academics through the following partnerships:
We support the student leaders of the world’s oldest Christian Union providing training and a dedicated events space for prayer meetings, study centre discussion and faculty-based creative outreach.
We share expert training, resources and conference support for the UK’s nationwide evangelical student ministry, with a particular focus on its postgraduate initiative.
We provide the administrative hub and a resource base for the development of academic ministry in the Continent’s largest student ministry, spanning 37 affiliated movements.
Support our projects and partnerships, which aim to foster rich evangelical engagement with the foundational questions of human culture.
